Saint Elizabeth Terrace Construction Updates
This page will be updated weekly with construction updates. Each entry will be dated. Thank you for your interest in Saint Elizabeth Community. We look forward to completion of the construction in the early months of 2012.
November 17, 2011 Update
Beginning in December, Saint Elizabeth Terrace Administrator Ken Cote and staff will be contacting applicants to schedule appointments for final verifications of paperwork and to schedule a tour of the apartment building.
- All refrigerators and exhaust hoods have been installed in all kitchens
- Waiting for stove installations
- Carpeting complete in all 2nd floor apartments.
- All kitchens and baths on 2nd floor are complete, with the exception of stove installation, and 90% complete on 1st floor
- Elevator is on site, but not installed yet
- Hallways will be carpeted after elevator installation
- Power to entire building has not been finalized. This is work in progress.
November 23, 2011 Update
- Power to entire building has been finalized.
- Carpeting to entire building is complete, except at front entrance and in front of elevator. This will be done after elevator installed
- Elevator installation begins Monday, November 28, 2011.

December 1, 2011 Update
- All appliances are installed
- Elevator installation continues, and will take 2-3 weeks.
- Final interior finish work being completed.
- Beginning December 5, 2011, Greta will be meeting with applicants to review final paperwork.
December 9, 2011 Update
- Elevator installation work ongoing- making progress
- Exterior Grounds work being commpleted including parking, landscaping, curb
- Interior finish work- fine details getting done
- Need to install carpetinig in halls and lobby around elevator
- Multi-purpose room needs flooring installed
December 16, 2011 Update
- Elevator is fully installed and operational
- Flooring in multipurpose room completed
- All carpeting in hallways and lobby installed
- Final installation of electrical outlet covers being done
- Final check list of small items throughout building such as painting touch ups being completed
December 22, 2011 Update
- The building is finished!
- Now all systems must be inspected before a certificate of occupancy is issued.
