Dottie Santagata was appointed Administrator of Cornerstone in January 2010, following the organization’s affiliation with the Saint Elizabeth Community.  A graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Ms Santagata continued her studies at Boston College where she received a master’s degree in social work.

She has been affiliated with Cornerstone Adult Services for the past nine years, beginning as the Director of Social Services.  She was named Director of Day Services in 2004, a position in which she provided clinical supervision to the interdisciplinary teams at Cornerstone’s four centers and coordinated referrals, admissions, outreach and quality assurance.

Ms. Santagata is on the Department of Elderly Affairs Home and Community Care Advisory Committee.  Additionally, she is a field instructor for School of Social Work at Rhode Island College, Providence College, Boston College and Wheaton College. Ms. Santagata was selected a 2009 Administrator of the Year by the National Adult Day Services Association.
