A dedicated lady with a giving spirit

Mrs. Rita Morton Johnson, 89, (turning 90 in January), a 25-year volunteer at Saint Elizabeth Home in East Greenwich, was honored on December 7th for her many years of dedication.  As a volunteer with Saint E’s Friends’ Group, Rita found joy helping others.  Rita has resided in Rumford in the same home since 1920, and was previously employed for 15 years as the business office manager at Saint Elizabeth Home in Providence.  Rita is seen in photo accepting an award from Steve Horowitz, CEO and President of Saint Elizabeth Community, and Denise Metz, President of the Friends’ Group.
